This device is used to measure the viscosity. The 100 cc of the sample such as the paint, varnish, etc. is put into a cup. The time of outflow from the orifice at the bottom of cup is measured with the stop watch, thus to obtain the viscosity . Normally , the viscosity obtained with No. 4 cup is utilized.
